Dr. Richard Simon Hanson, noted biblical scholar, pastor, teacher and Luther College professor emeritus, will direct a lively study of the Biblical Book of Psalms in a program titled "Humanly Speaking -- to God, About God, About Life."

The course takes place over four Tuesday evenings -- Nov. 20 and 27, and Dec. 4 and 11, from 7-8:30 at the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church Fellowship Hall, 701 Iowa Ave, Decorah.

Suggested donation is $10 for the full course and $5 for a single session.

Dr. Hanson received his Ph.D. from Harvard University and was a member of the Dead Sea Scrolls archaeology and translation team. He has authored both theological works and his own translation of the Book of Psalms.
