DUG (Decorah Urban Gardens) wants to help five households in Decorah create or expand their gardens for this growing season.
Organizers say the group will help prepare the ground, secure seeds and provide hands-on advice and assistance to help make your garden grow! Contact DUG committee by Friday, April 12, to be considered for the assistance (Steve Luse at 563-382-6328 or 563-379-2327 or by e-mail at firstname.lastname@example.org).
Include name, address, phone number and if you want to own or rent the space, and if this is an existing or new garden project.
DUG is a community of gardeners working to advocate for organic, urban gardens; encourage non-toxic urban landscapes; educate and assist new gardeners and each other in gardening pursuits; and to increase local food production.
