Karen Hoeger, Rick Guilgot wed in outdoor ceremony

Karen Hoeger and Rick Guilgot were married Sept. 29, 2012, at Backbone Beach at an outdoor ceremony.
The Rev. Laura Gentry performed the ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of John and Marcia Hoeger, Manchester. The goom is the son of Kathy Guilgot, Manchester and Richard Guilgot, Decorah. He is also the grandson of Helen Ryan, Manchester.
Maid of honor was Samantha Rolfes, daugher of the bride, Waterloo. Bridesmaids were Ashley Guilgot, daughter of the groom, Castle Rock, Minn.; Britney Deutmeyer, daughter of the bride, Zimmerman, Minn.; and Kennedy Deutmeyer, daughter of the bride, Zimmerman, Minn.
Best man was Scott Hovden, friend of the groom, Elkton, Minn. Groomsmen were Bill Griebling, friend of the groom, Red Wing, Minn.; Andrew Hoeger, godson and nephew of the bride, Colesburg, and Carter Oberbroeckling, nephew of the bride, Colesburg.
A reception and dance were held immediately following the ceremony at the Backbone Beach Lodge.
Karen is employed with Accurate Home Care as a respiratory therapist educator.
Rick is employed as assistant meat manager for County Market.
The couple reside in Zimmerman, Minn.
