A nuptial mass was celebrated at 2 p.m. at St. Benedict's Catholic Church, with Fr. Phillip Gibbs and Msgr. Edward Lechtenberg. Matron of honor was Kara Crain and bridesmaid was Jill Grubbs, sisters of the bride. Irene O'Brien is grandmother of the bride.
Best man was Chris Rouland and groomsman was Bill Markwardt, both friends of the groom. Ring bearers were Noah Grubbs, Sam Grubbs and Thomas Crain, all nephews of the bride. Flower girl was Evelyn Crain, niece of the bride. Ushers were Peter Grubbs and Charles Crain, brothers-in-law of the bride.
Musicians were Eileen O'Brien Denner, aunt of the bride, harpist; Julie Vulk, vocalist and Mary Beth Bouska, pianist/organist, both from St. Benedict's Church. Readers were Tami Bonnett, cousin of the bride and Mike O'Brien, uncle of the bride. Reception was at Ridgeway Community Center catered by U2BBQ. Hosts and hostesses were Gene and Susie Anderson along with Stan and Robyn Sorenson, uncles and aunts of the bride. Cheesecake baker was Jordan Anderson, cousin of the bride. The DJ was Frontline. The photographer was Amanda Sethrie of Studio A Photography. The horse-drawn carriage ride provided by Dotzenrod Carriage.
Jason and Shelley went on a honeymoon to Cedar Point Rollercoaster Park in Sandusky, Ohio. They live in Rochester, Minn. where Jason works as an engineer and Shelley is employed in the human services field.
