Tekippe, Wojcik wed in outdoor ceremony

Jenarah Tekippe and Christopher Wojcik were united in marriage June 8, 2013, at the Sleeping Lady Resort, in Leavenworth, Wash.
The bride's parents are Pat and Jaynece Tekippe of Festina. The groom is the son of Janet Talbert of Lake Island, Ill., and the late Ted Wojcik.
The ceremony took place outdoors with the Cascade Mountains and Wenatchee River as a backdrop and Joshua Urness officiating. Jenarah was escorted by her father. She wore a strapless ivory satin gown with an asymmetrical waist accented by beaded lace on the bodice, waist and a border of lace on the hem and train.
Matron of honor was Calista Humpal, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Andrea Hobson, friend of the bride and Sara Wojcik, niece of the groom. Best man was Phillip Winter, friend of the couple.
Groomsmen were Jim Wojcik, brother of the groom and Abe Tekippe, brother of the bride. Gracyn Humpal, niece of the bride was the flower girl and "Ranger," Jenarah's silver Labrador, was the ring bearer.
Guests enjoyed dinner and dancing in the Salmon Gallery at the Sleeping Lady Resort following the ceremony. The couple made their exit from the reception riding on a tandem bicycle.
Jenarah is a graduate of Luther College, in Decorah and the University of Iowa Carver College of Medicine, in Iowa City. She is an emergency medicine physician at Central Washington Hospital, in Wenatchee, Wash.
Chris is a graduate of Illinois State University and works as a self-employed videographer with his company, Wojcik Films. The couple resides in Leavenworth, Wash.
