The North Winneshiek School District tax rate will remain at $14.77 for the 2013-2014 school year.
Last month, the Iowa Legislature approved a 2 percent increase in funding for school districts plus a 2 percent, one-time payment for the 2013-2014 school year.
Originally, the North Winneshiek School Board approved a tax rate of $15.25, but with the increase in state aid, the Board was able to maintain the previous year's levy, according to North Winneshiek Superintendent Tim Dugger.
