The Decorah Swimming Pool opens for the season Sunday, May 26.

Hours Monday through Friday, 1-5:25 p.m. and 6:30- 8:30 p.m.; Saturdays and Sundays hours are 1-8 p.m.

However, Tuesday, May 28, and Wednesday, May 29, which are Decorah School makeup days, hours are 4- 8 p.m.

Daily admission fees are free for children 3 years and younger (parents must pay), $4.50 for 4 to 64-year-olds and $3.50 for 65 years and older and special needs patrons. The first and third Sunday of each month from 5:30-8 p.m. admission is 50 cents per person. Season passes can also be purchased, as can 11-admissions punch passes.

Adult lap swim are available Monday through Friday, 6:45- 7:45 a.m., noon-1 p.m. and 6:30-7:30 p.m.; and Saturday and Sunday noon-1 p.m. and 6:30-7:30 p.m. Lap swimmers must be at least 18 years old and pay regular daily admission.

Several programs are offered at the Decorah Swimming Pool, from parent-infant/toddler, adaptive swimming, private lessons, preschool, lifeguard training, water safety instruction and the learn to swim program.
