The Decorah Area Chamber of Commerce (DACC) is partnering with Vesterheim Norwegian-American Museum to offer a weekend of festivities Friday through Sunday, Nov. 9-11.
The Decorah-All Decked Out weekend centers on a variety of activities to celebrate the beginning of the holiday season.
"We are excited to have the opportunity to partner with the efforts of the Deck the Tables committee. These ladies have worked hard to create a wonderful weekend and we saw their vision extending to the retail and restaurant sectors." Nikki Brevig, DACC executive director said.
"We've provided a resource to bring the groups together and further promote the weekend full of activities. We're looking forward to a wonderful weekend."
The DACC retail committee agreed to partner on the event and retailers are offering events and sales in their stores. Many restaurants have also gotten on board to offer specials for the weekend. A complete listing of all the participating merchants and their specials can be found online at decorahareachamber.com.
Decorah - All Decked Out is just the beginning of the holiday season in the Decorah area, according to Brevig.
