Security State Bank, located in Ossian and Calmar, is changing its name to State Bank.
John Rigler, president and CEO of State Bank and Trust Company and Security State Bank, a division of State Bank and Trust Company, New Hampton, IA, announced that the financial institution is moving forward under the new, common brand – State Bank.
“Our two banks began a partnership in January 2011, which gave our customers more locations, no-fee ATMs, and the added benefit of our Wealth Management Department including Trust and Investment Services,” stated Rigler.
“We have now taken the next step in our partnership by moving forward under a common brand. This is an exciting time for us and we assure you that even though our name has changed, your bank has not,” Rigler continued.
State Bank customers will continue to enjoy the same personal service from the same experienced professionals at any one of their eight locations in Calmar, Charles City, Dike, Janesville, New Hampton, Ossian and two offices in Waverly.
“They remain a strong and stable financial institution which are factors essential to keeping your community strong and growing. As an added bonus, State Bank continues to operate as a local, community bank with decisions being made in the communities they serve where they understand the needs of their customers,” said bank representatives in a press release.
“This is a great fit for both our customers and employees,” said John Heying, vice president and chief credit office.
“It will be a seamless transition and customers should expect business as usual,” Heying added.
