The annual Mardi Gras festival invites kids and adults of all ages to join in the fun Sunday, Feb. 10, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at St. Benedict School, 402 Rural Avenue in Decorah.

A kids' carnival with games and prizes sponsored by Viking State Bank, a bouncy house sponsored by Jeremy and Jennifer Fahey and Ben and Laura Thorson, temporary tattoos, Bingo for all ages, silent auction baskets, raffle and food are part of the day's events. New to Mardi Gras this year is a popcorn machine sponsored by Ameriprise and a Photo Wall including fun props sponsored by Dave and Jane Jensen.

The a-la-carte menu includes slices of pizza, homemade bars and beverages sponsored by Mabe's Pizza, St. Ben's families and Dr. Bob Stalberger. Decorah Veterinary Clinic

The festival is highlighted by a raffle, featuring a Minneapolis Family Fun Vacation sponsored by Dr. Randy Olson, DDS, which includes lodging, Minnesota Zoo credit, Science Museum family pass and Nickelodeon Universe unlimited ride wristbands.

Raffle tickets are $1 each and can be purchased in the school office or from St. Benedict School students. There will be hundreds of prizes to be won at Bingo, the silent auction, and the kid's games.

Funds raised from this year's event will go toward technology updates and building improvements.
