A large amount of cash, paraphernalia, marijuana and items used in the distribution of narcotics were discovered by Decorah Police officers when they stopped a vehicle during the special traffic enforcement program (STEP) Wave Sunday.

Officer also discovered a large amount of baked goods containing marijuana in the vehicle they stopped at the intersection of Highway 9 and Highway 52 at about 6 p.m.

Alexander Vissoky, 22, La Crosse, was arrested and charged with conspiracy to deliver a controlled substance -- marijuana, a class D felony; failure to affix a tax stamps, a Class D felony; and possession of controlled substance, a serious misdemeanor.

Cody Lange, 21, La Crosse, was charged with conspiracy to deliver a controlled substance – marijuana, a Class D felony; failure to affix a tax stamp, a class D felony; possession of a controlled substance, a serious misdemeanor; and second-offense operating while intoxicated, an aggravated misdemeanor.
