With our beloved, world-famous eagles circling high above the festivities, we'd like to extend a warm Velkommen to everyone who has made the trek to this beautiful little corner of America to experience our annual Nordic Fest celebration.
Appropriately themed "Return to the nest for the 46th Fest" in recognition of the incredibly popular "eagle cam" that has attracted millions of viewers over the past two nesting seasons, this year's celebration of Decorah's Norwegian/Scandinavian heritage will once again feature everything visitors have come to expect - from lefse, to bunads, to unique entertainment, to arts and crafts, to that dreaded scourge of Norway: lutefisk -- and much, much more.
If this is your first-ever Fest, we hope you find it refreshingly rewarding and fulfilling, and if you're returning to Decorah for yet another trip down Nordic Fest Lane, welcome back to the ... sorry ... nest. One thing you can always count on during your brief stay with us is good, clean family fun, and that's a promise. Enjoy.
