The Decorah girls track seniors were sent off in fine style Thursday night as the Vikings claimed the team title at the Decorah Relays, the second of two home meets this season.
Decorah posted 187 points to win the night. South Winn was fifth with 56 points.

Coming up roses
Decorah had nine events bring home the gold medal.
In the relays, the 4x800 of Katie Nimrod, Shayla Betts, Sarah Mikkelson and Jenna Galligan breezed to first in 9:56.17. Clearing the hurdles in the shuttle hurdle relay were Kylie Kerndt, Grace Syverson, Madison Sexton and Ambria Pipho. Their time was 1:08.86.
The weight women did their part to bring home 10 points Jordyn Hussain, Lydia Kleckner, McKinley Lillegraven and Hailey Nierling had a time of 59.10. The 4x400 finished the night strong. Brooke Berns, Mikkelson, Sexton and Nimrod broke the tape in 4:06.79. The night started with the sprint medley victory. Rose Gullekson, Kerndt, Rylea Ranum and Berns set the bar with a time of 1:54.55, with Berns coming up to bring home the gold in the final meters.
