Three local football players were honored at the Luther football banquet, held last Saturday.
Adam Bohr was named the offensive MVP and earned his fourth collegiate letter. The 2009 Decorah High School graduate led the team in all-purpose yards with 697. He was credited with 148 yards on the ground, had 27 receptions for 471 yards and three touchdowns, and also had 78 yards in kick return yardage. For his efforts he was named honorable mention all-Iowa Conference. Bohr is the son of Dennis and Lois Bohr of Decorah.
Robby Jewell was presented his third letter.
The starting defensive back graduated from DHS in 2010. The second team all-Iowa Conference honoree led the defensive secondary with three interceptions and nine pass break-ups. He also was credited with 38 tackles. Jewell is the son of Bobby and Paula Jewell of Decorah.
Eric Ostlie was presented his first letter. The 2010 DHS graduate saw action in nine games on the defensive line. He was credited with 11 tackles and one sack and one tackle for a loss. He is the son of Paul and Lori Ostlie of Decorah.
