Camp Tahigwa run

The Friends of Camp Tahigwa arepreparing for the inaugural Bridge to Bismarks 5K/10K/1-mile run at the Girl Scout Camp Tahigwa in Dorchester Saturday, Sept. 14.
The event is open to the community, including boys. The race will start at the camp's famous swing bridge. When participants finish, local Girl Scouts will hand out hot bismarks, prepared over a fire.
Camp Tahigwa is the local Girl Scout camp, featuring 316 acres near Dorchester.
This race is open any level of runner, from novice to experienced, thanks to the variety of distances. Anyone who registers before Aug. 22 will be guaranteed a T-shirt. All funds raised will be used for more events at Camp Tahigwa and to provide financial assistance to Girl Scouts in need who want to attend events at camp.
