The Decorah boys soccer team (1-3) picked up its first win of the season this week, while dropping a contest Tuesday.

First win

Monday the Vikes went on the road and defeated Denver 4-0. Jakob Frueh scored the opening goal on a 25-yard shot that found the upper corner. Josh Miller than put in the next two goals. Chris Wieseler capped the Viking scoring attack on a shot that beat Denver's goalkeeper to the lower left.

The game was called at halftime due to torrential rain and wind.
