West Delaware struck first with a run in the bottom of the second. The Vikings answered with two in the top of the third, with West Delaware coming back with a run in the third to make it 2-2. The Vikings finally got the win in the top of the ninth. Brady Dawley started the inning with a walk, with Bryce Pierce coming in to run for him. Brett LaRue came in as a pinch hitter and singled sharply to advance the runners.
