It was a good tournament for the South Winn and Turkey Valley volleyball teams in the second day of the Upper Iowa Conference tournament.

South Winn finished third while Turkey Valley took sixth overall. Sumner-Fred was crowned the conference champion.



Bronze

In order to get to Saturday's tournament, the Warriors needed to defeat Kee and Starmont Thursday. South Winn took down Kee 2-0 (25-21, 25-20). Megan Hageman served 11-for-13 with two aces. Brittany Shindelar had nine kills while Micole Lansing made nine digs. They also took down Starmont, who they had lost to 2-3 earlier in the week, 2-0 (25-14, 25-15). Lansing served 11-for-11 and led the team with eight kills. Megan Bushman had three assisted blocks while Megan Elsbernd had two.
