With two games in two days, the South Winn volleyball team (15-12, 5-3 UIC) split its UIC contests, falling Monday at North Fayette and winning Tuesday against MFL.



Road contest

Monday the Warriors fell 2-3 at North Fayette (25-10, 13-25, 25-21, 16-25, 5-15).

As a team they had 32 kills, 114 attack attempts, 30 assists, 37 digs and four total blocks.

Becca Franzen had 18 assists, along with eight digs, four kills and 14 attack attempts. Jessica Lensing added nine assists and three digs. Morgan Kuennen and Micole Lansing both had five digs while Payton Poshusta had four. Brittany Shindelar made two solo and one assisted block. Poshusta had the other assist.

Lansing and Jenn Panos both made seven kills. Poshusta and Shindelar had five each.

Serving the ball, Kuennen, Lansing and Carlee Knutson all had one ace while Megan Hageman and Franzen each had two service aces.
