The shots didn't fall Saturday night in the Turkey Valley gym as the Trojan girls basketball team lost to Kee High 45-31 in the first round of the Class 1A playoffs.

The game was originally scheduled for Thursday but was moved due to bad weather.

The Trojans end the year 4-16 overall while Kee High improves to 11-9. The Hawks will face Tripoli today, Tuesday, Feb. 12, in the second round.

In Saturday night's contest, the Trojan offense couldn't get hot. It was back and forth to start the game, with both teams converting on fast-break opportunities. When the first buzzer sounded, Kee held a 12-9 lead. It was much of the same in the second quarter. Neither team was able to get much going consistently, with a combined output of 14 points. At the half Kee led 20-15.
