In the final UIC match of the season, the Turkey Valley volleyball team (16-10, 5-3 UIC) picked up a road victory, defeating Postville (3-14, 1-6 UIC) 3-0.

Game scores were 25-13, 25-16, 25-8.

The Trojans had 39 kills, 91 attack attempts, 35 assists, 55 digs, two blocks and posted a .958 serving percentage (69-for-72 with 11 aces).

Taylor Novotny served 15-for-17 with four aces, along with eight kills, 17 attack attempts, 10 assists and six digs. Johanna Blazek served 14-for-14, pounded seven kills, 22 attack attempts and 11 digs. Ashley Kurash added 14 assists, nine digs and served 11-for-11. Noelle Berst contributed seven assists and three digs. Kayla Schaufenbuel provided nine kills and 13 attack attempts.



The Trojans are off until Thursday, Oct. 17, when they will play in the first day of the UIC conference tournament.
