The Turkey Valley girls basketball team (4-5, 3-4 UIC) got back on track Friday night, defeating Postville (0-8, 0-6 UIC) 46-32 at home.

The Trojans put the game away early, scoring 20 points in the first quarter while allowing just four. The lead grew in the second quarter as the Trojans outscored Postville 17-10 to go into the locker room ahead 37-14.

The third quarter saw both teams shooting ice cold ball, with a combined 12 points scored. However, the Trojans still managed to increase its lead by six to make it 46-17 with eight minutes remaining.
