Making a second half comeback, the Decorah girls basketball team (7-12, 4-7 NEIC) defeated Edgewood-Colesburg (14-7) 58-51 Tuesday night at home in non-conference action.

The Vikings fell behind early to Ed-Co. Ed-Co scored the first two points of the game, then Decorah came back to take a 7-4 lead midway through the first. However, Ed-Co found its shooting touch, putting up a 16-10 lead with one minute remaining. The Vikes came back to cut the lead to two at the break, 16-18. Decorah tied the game at 23-all two minutes into the second frame. It was close from there until the final two minutes, when Ed-Co built the lead to six at 33-27. It remained at six at the halftime break, with Ed-Co up 35-29.
