The South Winn boys basketball team (5-5, 4-3 UIC) is on a roll, winning its last two games.

The Warriors defeated Valley (5-6, 3-6 UIC) 54-36 Friday and Riceville (6-6) 50-30 Saturday.



Schweinefus' night

The Warriors got back on the winning side in the conference Friday night, defeating Valley. The Warriors jumped out to a 12-9 lead after the first. The Warriors outscored the Tigers by two in the second to go ahead 27-22 at the half.

The Warriors outscored Valley 13-10 in the third, but it was the defense that put the game away, holding the Tigers to just four points in the final quarter.
