With the win, the Warriors have secured first place in the conference.
With a close game, it wasn’t until the fifth inning that the Warriors pulled away, winning 9-2.
It was a second game of a double header that started June 16, with South Winn winning 15-0. The second contest was postponed due to rain, being played Tuesday night in Calmar.
South Winn got on the board in the second inning when Tyler Numedahl reached on a single and scored on an Andre Walz single.
The Trojans took the lead in the fourth inning when Ryan Busta started the frame with a walk. Riley Meirick singled, then Kyle Reicks was hit by a pitch. A fielder’s choice by Riley Busta scored a run. A walk to Riley Schmitt brought home a second run to make it 2-1 TV.
