With the season winding down, the South Winn boys basketball team (8-9, ) got a split of two games in two nights.



Friday night

Friday the Warriors hosted Sumner-Fred (16-3, 13-1), falling to the Cougars 56-63. The Warriors held a 13-11 sead after the first quarter and even led at halftime 24-23. However, the Cougars outscored the Warriors by six points in the third quarter to take a lead that was never given up.

Two players were in double figures for South Winn. Eric Albertson was strong with 13 points, along with three assists. Trevor Schweinefus had 10 points, along with four boards. Jordan Rommes had nine points and seven rebounds while Andre Walz had eight points and seven boards. Garrett Bohach had eight points and three assists.
