Night bike ride

The Decorah Night Shift mountain bike race is Saturday, Nov. 8.
Registration for the event is from 5:45-6:45 p.m. at the Decorah Municipal Center. There will be a pre-race briefing at 6:45 p.m. A pre-ride will start at 7 p.m. from the Municipal Center, and a mass race start is scheduled at 7:15 p.m.
The course is nine miles of single track in the rolling, wooded areas of the Decorah park system. The final course will be determined by the race director the day of the event.
There will be both male and female classes with a minimum age of 14. An awards ceremony will be held at the Courtyard and Cellar in Decorah.
All riders must have an approved helmet, main headlight and back-up light with light run times of at least 1.5 hours.
