Water Street Music announces “OK Five Years On” Thursday, Nov. 16, at 7 p.m. at The Lingonberry.

“OK Five Years On” features new-classical crossover duo The OK Factor. The duo, featuring Luther alums cellist Olivia Diercks and violinist Karla Colahan, first played live in Decorah five years ago as a part of Water Street Music Series. This celebratory five-year anniversary concert will feature original tunes and a sneak preview of their brand new Christmas album.

The OK Factor has performed on stages such as The Dakota Jazz Club, The Cedar Cultural Center, The Aster Cafe, The Stone Arch Bridge Festival and more. They also do work in educational outreach and community engagement, including conducting workshops for string students of all ages. Olivia and Karla invite audiences to an experience that inspires and encourages them to explore music and cultivate a curiosity about its role in their lives.

Water Street Music is in its sixth season of igniting the performing arts in our region by presenting collaborative local music that connects Luther College and the Decorah community.

Tickets are $12 regular, $7 students and can be purchased at waterst.org or by calling 563-277-7734.
