The 2019 NCAA Division III Men’s National Soccer Tournament 64-team field was announced Monday. Luther College will host first and second round matches, Saturday and Sunday, Nov. 16-17. 

Luther (16-4-1) will face Principia College (12-6-0), Elsah, Ill. in the first match on Saturday, Nov. 16 at 1 p.m. Central College (14-3-2) will face UW-Superior (16-3-2) at 3:30 p.m. 

The winners will advance to the second-round match that will begin at 3 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 17. 

Luther is making its 10th appearance in the national tournament, the fifth under the leadership of Head Coach Chris Garcia-Prats. Luther earned an automatic berth to the national tournament by winning the six-team American Rivers Conference Tournament. The Norse defeated the Duhawks of Loras College 2-1 in the tournament championship match Saturday, Nov. 9, in Dubuque.
