Associate Athletic Trainer

Luther College seeks a 10 month, .83 FTE Associate Athletic Trainer. The Trainer will assist the Head Athletic Trainer with the responsibilities of managing the athletic training services with the understanding of current NCAA Dlll and NATA policies and procedures. Responsibilities include: Assist with the development and maintenance of overall athletic training services for the Athletic Department, including injury prevention, evaluation, management, and treatment/rehabilitation; Assist with coordination and scheduling of athletic training coverage for scheduled team practices and competition; Conduct Institutional drug testing for student-athletes, teach Human Performance Nutrition Class; and serve as a preceptor in ATEP. Master’s degree in Athletic Training or related field required, two years of collegiate experience and prior teaching experience preferred.
