Associate Athletic Trainer

Luther College seeks a 10 month, .83 FTE Associate Athletic Trainer. The Trainer will assist the Head Athletic Trainer with the responsibilities of managing the athletic training services with the understanding of current NCAA Dlll and NATA policies and procedures. Responsibilities include: Assist with the development and maintenance of overall athletic training services for the Athletic Department, including injury prevention, evaluation, management, and treatment/rehabilitation; Assist with coordination and scheduling of athletic training coverage for scheduled team practices and competition; Conduct Institutional drug testing for student-athletes, teach Human Performance Nutrition Class; and serve as a preceptor in ATEP. Master’s degree in Athletic Training or related field required, two years of collegiate experience and prior teaching experience preferred. is currently accepting applications for the following FULL-TIME positions.

$2.00 PER HOUR SHIFT PREMIUM FOR 2ND & 3RD SHIFT POSITIONS.

 MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN (1ST SHIFT)

Supports production and maintenance operations. Experience with Industrial Control Systems/PLC’s performing troubleshooting. Machine inspections/ repairs, diagnostics, preventative maintenance and rebuild/fabrication.

 PLASTICS A OPERATOR (3RD SHIFT)

To set up and operate plastic injection molding machine(s), check molds, air and water lines, and make other adjustments as needed to minimize safety hazards and help achieve highest level of quality production possible.

 WAREHOUSE UTILITY (3RD SHIFT)

To locate and stage inventory as required for production. To move material from one department to another in order to meet operational fl ow or locate into inventory when required. To locate and do physical count of parts as a basis for maintaining accurate inventory levels. Prior fork truck experience preferred.

 DIE CAST B OPERATOR (3RD SHIFT)

To setup and operate hydraulic trim presses which can be learned on the job. Assists with the setup of die cast machines.

 MACHINING B OPERATOR (3RD)

To operate machining equipment and make necessary adjustments to programs, tools and equipment as necessary to facilitate production and quality standards.

 WATER TREATMENT OPERATOR (2ND SHIFT)

Performs treatment to waste water streams while ensuring that the treatment equipment is kept in proper working condition. Works in conjunction with the Manufacturing Lab Technician to ensure the plating baths (Chrome and Zinc) are at the appropriate specifications.

 CHROME PARTS HANGER/INSPECTOR (2ND SHIFT)

To vapor degrease parts, load and unload parts from racks, inspect parts and in some cases, package parts.
