EIGHTY YEARS AGO: A wonderful banquet tendered by Winneshiek County farmers to businessmen of Decorah and other towns was conducted at the Decorah Lutheran Church the other night. It was the first party of its kind ever held here, and it was indeed a wonderful sight when the farmers invited the business folks to break bread with them. The idea was highly received, judging from the wonderful response.
