The person in Winneshiek County who had a confirmed case of COVID-19 was released from isolation Tuesday.
Winneshiek County Public Health reported the case March 18. The individual was not hospitalized and is in the 19-40 age group.
“Our case was released from isolation on March 24 because all of the criteria has been met: Fever free for 72 hours without the use of fever-reducing medications and seven days since the onset of symptoms and the symptoms have resolved,” said Winneshiek County Public Health Administrator Krista Vanden Brink.
