Everyone is invited to be part of forming a new group focused on combating racism in the community and working toward racial justice.

The first meeting is Monday, Jan. 6, from 6 to 8:30 p.m. in the Decorah Public Library meeting room, and will focus on envisioning the scope of the group, and strategizing its structure to most effectively work towards racial equity.

This will be a collaborative and informal meeting, designed to assess the needs and interests of local people already doing social justice work, and those new to this work.

All interested people are welcome, though the session is especially targeted towards those who would like to commit to ongoing anti-racist work within the community.
