Spring is on its way and, with that, the sale of daffodils to benefit the American Cancer Society of Winneshiek County.

The Daffodil Days campaign will deliver hundreds of yellow flowers across the county to raise awareness and funds for the fight against cancer.

“With daffodils, the hope goes beyond the symbol of the flowers – you know that with every bouquet you order, you’re making a difference in the fight against cancer,” American Cancer Society Staff Partner Sarah Foster says. “We’re thankful to our sponsors, The Depot Outlet and Winneshiek Medical Center, along with the community (members) who support this fundraiser and our mission.”

Make a minimum $10 donation to receive a bunch of approximately 10 daffodils. Orders are being taken at Viking State Bank at 321 W. Water Street until Feb. 28. Daffodils will be available for pickup March 13, at Decorah Lutheran Church, from 9 a.m. until noon.
