Decorah High School will host its 18th annual Veterans Day Breakfast and program for veterans and their families Friday, Nov. 9.
Breakfast will be served to veterans and their family members in the high school cafeteria starting at 8:30 a.m. At 9:10 a.m. six Quilts of Valor recipients will receive their quilts during a presentation by local quilters.
The Veterans Day Program will be held in the high school auditorium and is scheduled to begin at 9:45 a.m. The DHS Wind Ensemble and the DHS Concert Choir will perform.
DHS students will commemorate the end of World War I, honoring the sacrifices andcontributions of those who served. Lieutenant Colonel Craig Neuzil, United States Air Force, retired is the featured speaker for the program.
Parking will be available in the parking lot located on the west side of the high school.
Veterans and their family members can enter through either the auditorium doors or the doors located off the west parking lot.
