The Great Climate March (visit <>) has been progressing across the country and is now in Iowa.
Activist Faith Meckley of Ithaca College and former State Rep. Ed Fallon, will stop in Decorah to share the experience of the ongoing 3,000 mile walk across the United States. Faith will speak about fracking in New York and have a question and answer session with attendees. The event, which also includes food and music, will take place at the Water Street Park outside the Oneota Co-op.
The goal of the Great Climate March for Climate Action is to “change the heart and mind of the American people, our elected leaders, and people across the world to act now to address the climate crisis.”
