The New Minowa Players has announced the schedule for its upcoming season.

In a press statement, the NMP Board said it is “approaching its new season cautiously keeping in mind current legal and health recommendations. Auditions, rehearsals and performances will happen in a safe environment as we come through this long intermission.”

These are the shows NMP hopes to produce for its 2020-2021 season:

The Young People’s Production, scheduled for August: “Little Shop of Horrors,” directed by Indigo Fish and Hallie Johnson.

The Children’s Show, scheduled for October: a locally written script based on the Kenneth Graham book, The Wind in the Willows, directed by Rick Scheffert.

The November Creative Venture: The Last Five Years, directed by David Mendez.

The January family show, “Matilda,” directed by Sheryl Scheffert

The spring show: “The Crucible,” directed by David Mendez, rescheduled from spring 2020.

The summer musical, “Disney’s The Little Mermaid,” directed by Sheryl Scheffert, rescheduled from summer 2020.
