As of Saturday, June 30, there have been a reported 24 people who have tested positive for having the coronavirus in Winneshiek County.

That published number of confirmed COVID-19 cases is an increase from the reported number earlier in the week of 23 cases locally.

According to the Iowa Department of Public Health "COVID-19 in Iowa" website, 20 of those 24 patients have recovered. 

The state website listed increased numbers in several counties. Totals were listed as follows: Howard County with 12 cases, Fayette County with 27, Chickasaw County with 10 cases, Clayton County with 34, and Allamakee County with 120 positive cases.
