The Decorah Police Department says it has recovered Pride flags which were stolen last month from five houses in Decorah.
A news release from the department says police received five reports of stolen Pride flags on July 15.  One of the reports included a description of the vehicle being driven. Officers made a traffic stop that same day in an area near Phelps Park, and started an investigation into the thefts.  Police report charges are pending against the five juveniles, all of whom are 16 years old.  Two males faces charges of theft and trespassing; one female faces a tresspass charge; two other females have not had charges filed against them. They are being referred to Juvenile Court Services.
The Decorah Police Department says the investigation is continuing.  The flags were returned to the five houses. The Police report stated further information will be released soon.
