Members of the Winneshiek County Board of Supervisors are content with the Board’s leadership.
At its annual reorganizational meeting Monday morning, Supervisor Mark Kuhn made a motion to have John Logsdon remain Board chair and Dean Thompson vice chair.
“I’m happy with the way things are,” Kuhn said.
The motion was unanimously approved.
Logsdon, who represents District 4, has served 17 years on the Board, and is in his seventh year as Board chairman. Thompson represents District 3 and is in his second term on the Board and his sixth year as vice chair.
The supervisors also appointed the county’s official newspapers for the year: the Decorah Public Opinion and the Calmar Courier.
