It has been 45 years since the class of 1974 graduated from Decorah High School.

Class members are getting together the weekend of Aug. 23 Aug. 24, to celebrate – including a performance by The Dogs. (They’re coming out of “retirement” for a one-night “world tour”).

Activities kick off Friday, Aug. 23, at 6 p.m. at Toppling Goliath upstairs Taproom from 6 to 10 p.m.

Saturday, Aug. 24, the festivities continue at the Decorah Elks Lodge, from 5 p.m. to midnight.

Doors will open to the public at 7:30 p.m., with a $5 cover charge for a performance by The Dogs.

“Hope to see lots of people out to witness ‘putting the band back together’ for the evening,” says organizer Jim Grinna.
