Michael Hugo Noecker (Mike) was born Dec. 3, 1944 in Hackensack, Minn., at the home of Milo and Ida Noecker.

In 1949, Milo and Ida bought and moved to the family farm near Locust and Michael was raised on that farm with his sisters (Margo, Bettie and Suzanne) and his brother (Bill).
