Aidan Hunter, a 2020 graduate of Decorah High School, was crowned the American Rivers Conference champion in C-Singles. 

The A-R-C Individual Tournament was held Saturday, Sept. 26, and took place in three sites in Des Moines. The A-R-C is the only Division III conference in the nation playing tennis this fall. 

Hunter posted a record of 4-0 en route to the 2020 league title.

After receiving a bye in the first round, he defeated Rex Huinker of Central College (8-3); defeated Sam Yoon of Wartburg College (8-2) in the quarterfinals; defeated Sam Musman of Buena Vista University (8-1) in the semifinals; and then defeated teammate Connor Fuzzy (8-1) in the championship match. 

Luther dominated the A-R-C Individual Tournament capturing titles A-Singles, B-Singles, C-Singles. The only portion of the tournament the Norse did not place was B-Doubles.

Hunter is the son of Paul and Janet Hunter of Decorah.
