The South Winn girls’ basketball team (0-4) couldn’t put together an offensive run Tuesday night, falling to North Fayette Valley at home Tuesday night, 47-21.

“The girls fought hard for 32 minutes. Offense was a struggle again and we didn’t play very good defense at all,” said assistant coach Justin Izer.

The Warriors fell behind early, trailing 22-4 after the first eight minutes. South Winn had a strong second, holding the TigerHawks to just 10 points to go into the locker room down, 32-11. Things fell apart again in the second half as the Warriors managed just 10 points in the 16 minutes.
