It was a sluggish offensive output for the South Winn softball team (8-14, 6-6 UIC) Tuesday night as the it took on Crestwood on the road. The Cadets defeated the Lady Warriors, 7-0.

A lone run scored by the Cadets gave the home team and early advantage before Crestwood erupted for six runs in the fifth frame. South Winn got just three hits in the contest.

The Warriors will compete in a tournament at Dunkerton Saturday starting at 9 a.m. and will host Turkey Valley in UIC action Monday, June 24, at 5:30 p.m.
