The Decorah girls’ basketball team (4-1, 0-1 NEIC) fell short at home against Class 3A No. 7 Crestwood (5-1, 1-0 NEIC) Tuesday night, losing 57-34.

“Crestwood is a skilled team with a lot of experience and they played a great game,” said Coach Shannon Quandahl. “We executed our game plan defensively and fell short on the offensive end. We continue to learn with each game with the goal to be playing our best basketball at tournament time.”
