Ossian native BreeAnn Hageman continues to add to her list of accolades on the heels of a stellar senior campaign on the Waldorf College women's basketball team.

Hageman was named to the NAIA All-American Honorable Mention list.

This season Waldorf transitioned into the Midlands Collegiate Athletic Conference, which brought long road trips to Oklahoma and Arkansas for conference games. The Warriors adjusted well and were competitive all season, while the 6-2 Hageman came into her own. She became a force at the center position and drew extra attention from defenders all season, but it did not hinder Hageman's success.

Heading into the conference tournament, the Midlands Collegiate Athletic Conference announced their 2012-13 All-MCAC basketball teams. Waldorf's women's basketball squad had three players land on the list, led by Hageman. She earned All-MCAC team honors, while being named the Defensive Player of the Year. Hageman averaged a double-double of 14 points and 12.74 rebounds this season. Her 12.74 rebounds per game and 395 total boards ranked first in NAIA Division II play. Hageman was also ranked first nationally in blocks per game (4.065) and total blocks (126).

Despite only donning her Waldorf jersey for just two seasons, Hageman leaves her impression on the college's record books. She now owns three single-season records in blocked shots, defensive rebounds and total rebounds. Hageman also lands first on the career blocks list with 197 total blocks.

"She had an outstanding season that ranks as one of the most productive in our history," stated Head Coach Denny Jerome. "BreeAnn dominated the paint on defense and enabled our perimeter defenders to extend and cover the three-point line. Her contributions of the success of our season were huge."
