The Warrior offense was able to bust out with its most productive performance of the season in an 11-0 victory over North Fayette Valley (2-2, 2-2 UIC) Tuesday night at home. The win puts No. 4 South Winn’s overall record at 8-0 with a 6-0 UIC mark.

“Leading the way was the senior trio of Noah Tieskoetter, Jaron Todd and Kody Kleve,” said Coach Alex Smith. “This was our best all-around performance by our guys as we clicked in all four facets of the game.”

South Winn set the tone early with four runs in the first inning and capped it off with a five-run fourth that included a solo home run by Tieskoetter followed by a three-run blast by Kleve.

The pitching combination of Tieskoetter and Briar Tigges combined for the five-inning shutout performance with eight total strikeouts with the defense committing just one miscue.

Todd went 3-for-3 with a double and two stolen bases, while Tieskoetter was also 3-for-3 with a home run. Kleve clobbered the ball for the long ball for four RBI. Three other Warriors — Seth Greve, Keagan Streeter and Jacob Herold — tagged the ball for singles.
