It wasn’t the season end the Turkey Valley volleyball team was hoping for as it faced Class 1A No. 6 Tripoli in the Region 5 quarterfinals Monday night in Tripoli. The Panthers defeated the Trojans 11-25, 8-25 and 9-25.

The Trojans end the year 4-22 overall. Tripoli (21-15) moves on to the regional semifinals Thursday, Oct. 25, against West Central in Tripoli.

Turkey Valley served 25-for-29 with one ace. They pounded nine kills on 65 attack attempts, with nine assists, 16 digs and six blocks.
